Our Heated Floor Installation Process
Every heated floor installation follows a proven process to ensure safety, efficiency, and long-term performance.
1. Consultation & Planning
We review your project, discuss heating requirements, and determine the best system for your space.
2. Floor Preparation
The existing subfloor is inspected and prepared to create a stable foundation.
Preparation may include:
- Floor leveling
- Surface preparation
- Crack isolation membrane
- Anti-fracture systems where required
3. Heating System Installation
The heating cable or heating mat is professionally installed according to the manufacturer’s layout requirements.
The heating system is carefully positioned to ensure even heat distribution and proper spacing.
4. Electrical Testing
The heating system is tested before, during, and after installation to verify that all electrical resistance values meet manufacturer specifications.
Final electrical connections are completed by a licensed electrician, as required by local electrical codes.
5. Tile Installation
Once the heating system has been installed, porcelain or ceramic tile is set using premium thin-set mortar and professional tile leveling systems.
6. Grouting & Final Inspection
After the tile installation is complete, premium grout and 100% sanitary silicone are installed where required.
